Day one: explore, explore, explore. Note to self, don’t get off the plane from cold Northern California and wear the same clothes to roam an extremely tropical climate in the summer. A case of heat stroke later… all is back to normal and we’re off to a great day.

We dropped the suitcases off at the hotel and set off on foot to unlock the great stories trapped inside this great city. And great they are. From Hotel Fort Canning we walked downhill to the great Battle Box for quite the tour. We mostly learned of the great pains suffered at the hands of the Japanese during the invasion and subsequent occupation.
